Unimom Nipple Shells are designed to protect sore or damaged nipples from sticking & chafing on your clothes. The ventilated front allows air to circulate through for a quicker healing.
The nipple shell is for when you have sore, damaged or sensitive nipples and you don’t want anything to touch them and they need to heal. If your bra or breast pad sticks to that damaged area it is incredibly painful. Wear these nipple shells through the day after feeding or expressing, and they'll keep your clothes off your nipples and stop anything rubbing against them.
This also enables them to air dry and heal quicker.
These aren't specifically designed to collect breast milk. Nipple Shells are to use as a cover over your nipples while they heal. There's a washable foam absorption pad that goes inside the shell to prevent milk leakage - you can empty and wash this.

WASHING: Wash all with Unimom bottle wash and hot water. Rinse with boiling water and leave to drip dry. Squeeze sponge out once cooled. Do not use microwave steriliser
