Heat packs deliver warm, moist heat to tender breasts which encourages milk flow, promotes let-down, relieves engorgement, maintains open milk ducts, and provides comfort for infection or mastitis.
This long skinny tube is a flexible design that enables you to position the heat pack for comfort around your breast. When rolled into a spiral it will deliver comfort without scolding nipples. It can be used on other aching body parts too, or used to warm baby's basinette.
Just warm it in the microwave and place over your breasts (over your tshirt) 5-10 minutes before feeding or pumping. ** They can also be chilled in the freezer to provide relief for hot engorged breasts (just put them inside a plastic bag before you freeze)
