FAQ

We can understand that you might be nervous about buying online, especially if it is your first purchase with our store.    So here are some FAQ to put your mind at ease.
 
COVID   We are OPEN for online orders and dispatching daily (order cutoff time 1pm)
 
Click'n'Collect - we can arrange for collection in the afternoons from Franny's home in Cambridge.   Just contact us to arrange before ordering
 
What are your shipping costs?    $7 NZ   
 
Do you ship internationally?   YES this is based on the weight of your parcel and will be calculated at checkout
 
When do you dispatch orders? Every weekday
 
What courier do you use?    Courier Post
 
Can you deliver to P O Boxes?   Yes
 
How long will delivery take?   If you are NZ urban town, it takes 1-2 nights.   Rural is an extra 2-3 days.   But we are finding things are a bit slower than usual with couriers around New Zealand so please allow some patience.  
 
Do you charge extra delivery for Rural? Nope, we absorb those costs
 
Do you have Same Day Delivery? No sorry, because we are based in small town Waikato we can't provide same day service.   But we will process your order and get it shipped out so it will arrive with you in 1 or 2 days.
 
Can I track my delivery? Yes, you'll receive the tracking code in a separate email.   The code will be generated automatically as we process your order (in the label printing step so sometimes the hours will be weird as I work funny hours around my children).   You'll also get an update when it is collected by the driver, due out for delivery, and when it is delivered.    The tracking emails will also give you an option to login to NZPost and set instructions for the driver.

Are you a franchise?  NO!   Breastmates is mum-owned and operated by Franny McInnes and it is the personal service which sets us apart!

What happens if I don't like/fit my order?  Don't worry!   We know it can be tricky to buy online, even more so with pregnancy and after, and not knowing your new body.    We want you to be happy with your shopping, and not disappointed.  You can send it back, and we can swap size, exchange style, or refund.     **Though if something you purchased was on sale, we aren't doing returns on those as they are on final clearance with a big price reduction. Are your clothing true to size?  Yes, standard NZ sizes (similar to max or glassons) with allowances for bellies.  Each page has a Sizing Tab which gives you more information on size and fabrication.  We've also tried to do video demos on products, and photos with local mums.
 
Should I order one size up? Not usually.   But if you are really unsure, then we suggest you order both sizes so that you can try them on at home and return wherever doesn't suit.   Full returns policy here.   This is sometimes easier for you to do at once, to try on and compare at the same time, and not sending back and forth. (Though it doesn't apply to Sale items sorry!)
 
Are all items on your website available now?   Yes everything that you can see is held here in our warehouse so we can ship today.  We don't sell things that are not physically available.
 
Do you have gift vouchers? Yes you can order here and it will be emailed to you automatically.   You can create for any value. We suggest you use Your email address so the voucher is created and sent to you, and then you can forward it to your friend directly.  We can also help with other gift ideas if you need input....
 
Can I visit your store? Yes!  It's more of a showroom and warehouse than a shop.   You can book a time for personal shopping with Franny here
 
When is your sale?  Always have a few odds'n'ends on the sale page.  These are all on final clearance and are heavily discounted.

What if I'm not sure about something?     Just email us, always happy to help.  Don't disappear!

What about Sale items?  Sorry items that are sold on Sale are not able to be returned for a refund or credit, because these are on final clearance.
