Found these provided quick relief as things got going after bubs arrived and I was glad to have them in my hospital bag. Haven't given 5 stars because of the need to wash the breast and nipple after removing them before feeding which was a bit of extra faff for me while bubs and I are figuring it all out! Have bought some of the boob gel heat pads to see if those work better for me.

Wish I knew about these 2 children ago! Used for a couple of days with my 3rd kid and have no pain at all. Very effective.

These are an absolute must have for any new Mum breastfeeding. My baby is 3 weeks old and I still use them as they feel so good on sore nipples! I dont know how I would of survived without them.

These are amazing for when learning to nurse and youre a bit sore. A midwife taught me a trick - cut in half and you get a pair out of each disc. Its only your nipples (not your areola) that really needs the soothing and healing. This makes the box of 12 go a bit further. And boy do these pads heal 'worn' skin fast! Like magic!
Only thing to watch out for is to NOT use if you have any kind of infection because used incorrectly/for the wrong things, these discs can make things like nipple thrush much worse. Other than that - their something every new mama needs a box of.

I used these in the earlier months of breastfeeding my son and have purchased more for my upcoming new arrival, a total must for sore nipples! They cool as soon as they go on and were far superior than using any creams. I never had cracked or bleeding nipples with these so highly recommend them. If you want them to go a bit further cut them in half as they only last a day, seems pricey but a total life (and nipple) saver!

These discs are amazing, baby girl hammered my nipples over the holiday season and they were looking sad and traumatised, after one day using these they are looking and feeling as good as new!! At my baby shower was blessed to have a friend buy these for me, since then I've ordered several more boxes - they absorb quite a bit of leakage AND give your nipples such a treat.

These breast discs are amazingly soothing. Being a FTM my breasts were so sore and I started getting cracked nipples which wasn't helped by my baby's lip tie (which has since been sorted) but these were a godsend and I'm already recommending them to friends who are pregnant so they have some on hand ready to go!

Birthcare for my first child gave me these to use in the first few days. A god send. I found them on this website and ordered more. Two years later,, about to give birth to my second child I ordered more and again these were amazing. Better than using a cream as nipples are protected from fabric as well, and given my wee one had latch issues, these helped my nipples when they were grazed, cracked and bleeding but I was not willing to give up on breastfeeding. Can also cut them in half if you want the packet to go a little further :)

Everyone should get some of these. They are so soothing and really sped up the recovery of my really cracked nipples. Had felt like I wasn't getting anywhere with using lanolin cream. Once I used these gel pads I saw a dramatic improvement in a really short time. I was stoked and my midwife was impressed too. I gave some to my sister-I-L. She initially didn't think that she had enough of a reason to use them. I insisted she tried them, the next day I got an excited text message saying that they were amazing!! Took the discomfort of getting latching sorted away.

So soothing for swollen sore and/or cracked nipples. Especially if you put them in the fridge first! Great for new mothers in those first few weeks of breast feeding.

These really were AMAZING - as a first time mum I really struggled with breastfeeding and it seemed like all my son wanted to do was feed feed feed in those early days. My nipples cracked, had ridges and were bleeding I then got nipple thrush followed by mastitis. It got so bad that I dreaded feeding him and cried through it. When my sister bought over a box of these it really was a god send and if it wasn't for them I'm sure I would have given up breast feeding. I intend on buying these to add to baby shower gifts for girlfriends!!!

I was having a really hard time with my first baby with what I called my 'crater' in my left nipple. I had tried everything and nothing worked, the pain was so bad I was cringing everytime I had to feed my little boy. I endured 8 weeks of this before I came across this wonderful product! It only took a week for my nipple to heal using these discs 24/7 finally relief and now 8 months later I love breastfeeding my boy. If I hadn't of known about these discs I would have stopped feeding him at 8 weeks...what else can I say these are fabulous!

These discs are worth their weight in gold... I used my first disc after my son had 'attacked' my nipples for 2 days and they provided instant relief from pain and helped reduce cracking etc such that the next feed was relatively painless!! I totally recommend storing them in the fridge for that extra relief.

I didn't have these with my first child and I had weeks and weeks of tears and anguish. I was very nervous with my second child that I would have as bad a time as I did with the first and ensured I have every product possible available to help relieve the pain of early feeding. As expected I had trouble again but THIS TIME I tried the hydrogel pads and they truly were amazing. They kept the nipples soft and hydrated, whereas the cotton pads took away a lot of moisture. Even though it still took me some weeks before I was entirely pain free, these made feeding so much more enjoyable and bearable. I also gave these to a friend who just about gave up breastfeeding and these kept her going. You've just got to try them.

Without the Hydrogel breast discs, I would not have been able to keep breastfeeding. Really helped with healing and soothing while I was just learning to breastfeed with my first baby. SO good. Would suggest buying a pack with a friend who is also pregnant then halve them, you may get the hang of feeding quickly and not need the whole pack

Without these I think I would've given up breastfeeding. I had badly cracked nipples and other breast-pads took nipple tissue off with them every time they were removed. The hydrogel discs got me through the bad times. Thanks Franny for sending them to me immediately - great service for desperate Mums.

I love these hydrogel disks. They provided so much relief after suffering from 4 bouts of mastitis. Lovely and cooling and very soothing. Definitely try these if you have any nipple problems. I had the best service from Breastmates. Franny answered all my questions. Would highly recommend.

These are amazing, they are the only reason i could continue to breast feed my daughter, i had so much pain, and when my daughter was 8 weeks old i started to use them, and i was able to breast feed without having to use the pump, highly recommend!!!

Love, love love these! Such a relief and you only need one per nipple per 24 hours so you don't go through them too fast. Every time I put one on I have a big sigh of relief, cant recommend them more!!!

After months of feeding problems with our second baby I cannot recommend these enough, I have just finished using them, fingers crossed and they have seen us though some really rough times with thrush and mastitis effecting my nipples. just like to say how awesome the hydrojel nipple soothing breastpads are. completely healed after just 1 day of using them. My areola and nipples were cracked and bleeding and now you cant even tell what happened to them.
