Our products are supplied on the following terms:

Price

Our current prices are displayed on the product detail page of each item. We reserve the right to vary the price list from time to time. All prices are shown in NZ $. Previously advertised prices are superseded by those displayed on this website. Your order will not be processed until payment is received in full.

Returns and Refunds

We know it can be hard to purchase online without trying items on first, so we do have a policy where you are welcome return anything that is not suitable (excluding sale items).  New Zealand customers must request a refund or exchange (with goods sent back) within 10 days.  International Customers from outside of NZ need to contact us as soon as you receive the parcel and try it on, we know the 10 day return period wont be suitable due to postage both ways, so please contact us immediately and we can advise. Items need to be returned in original, unused, unwashed condition with tags and packaging intact.  Items must be returned with a copy of your receipt from our store - which also has instructions on how to return them.  The items are to be returned to Breastmates at the customers expense.  We do not offer refunds nor exchanges for items that have been discontinued, end of line products, or sale items. For any items that are faulty, they must be returned to us by the customer, and then we will arrange a replacement or store credit.

Delivery Costs for New Zealand Customers

Our standard delivery charge is $6. Items in stock are usually despatched the same day they are ordered, provided orders are received by 2pm. Please note rural delivery takes 2-3 days from dispatch, dependant on your local Rural Delivery driver. We use a non-signature required service, which means the courier driver will leave your package in a safe place if you are not home. Please make a note with your order if you have specific delivery instructions for the driver or you need to sign for your package due to security concerns in your location.

Delivery Costs for Customers Outside of New Zealand

We do accept international orders and the price of shipping a parcel to your country will depend on the location that you select.    International parcels are sent using standard Airmail delivery through the postal service. Track and Trace on international parcels can be provided if requested by the customer, at an additional cost (approximately 5 times the price of airmail delivery).  International track and trace is not the default delivery option.

Payment

Credit cards accepted

We accept payment by bank deposit, telephone or internet banking, cheque, paypal,  and credit card.  (Visa and Mastercard). After your order is submitted we will automatically send you an email with the banking and cheque details. For customers that request to pay with credit card on the shopping cart, you will be transferred to a securely hosted page page that is hosted for us by DPS.  You can enter your details over a SSL encrypted site. We can also take credit card details over the phone if you would prefer to order that way.

Out of Stock Items

If your order is out of stock, we will notify you as quickly as possible and advise the expected delivery time. You are most welcome to choose an alternative product or cancel your order if you wish to do so.

Shopping Cart

Our shopping cart is hosted by "Mals E-commerce" if for some reason the shopping cart is not working for you, please email us. When you click the buttons "add to cart" your browser will be redirected to the shopping cart site.

Layby

We do accept layby with a deposit made at time of ordering, and the balance (including delivery) to be paid within eight weeks.  Please email us if you are interested in doing this, and we can organise it for your order.

 Privacy

We are committed to ensuring your privacy. Information is collected at the time of sale in order to complete the sale and deliver the items. We also gather information if the customer requests to join our newsletter or requests free samples. We send out newsletters to all our customers every 6 weeks approximately, with notification of new products or specials. In all our newsletters we give you the option to remove your name from our files. We will not give your details to any third party. You details will remain confidential.

Use

This product is safe when in ordinary use, but should you or your baby have any particular sensitivities or other medical conditions, please consult your doctor if in doubt. All information published on our website is intended for educational and general information purposes only. It is not intended as medical advice or as a means to diagnose, treat, cure or prescribe for any medical condition. All health ailments should be treated by a doctor or qualified health professional. You are responsible for any treatment undertaken as a result of the information on this site, or treatment recommended by any other party.

Lost Parcels

We send out an email to you when your order has been dispatched. Please contact us within 7 days of that date if your parcel has not been received so that we can lodge an enquiry with the postal and courier service. We do not issue replacements for items that are lost in the post, until after the investigation and claim is completed by NZ Post and NZ Couriers.
