Breastmates Heat Pack
Breastfeeding often doesn't come as a natural instinct to many
mothers, and it can be a very trying time. Using a heat pack
can help you to survive the first few weeks.
Heat packs deliver warm, moist heat to tender breasts which
encourages milk flow, promotes let-down, relieves engorgement,
maintains open milk ducts, and provides comfort for infection
or mastitis.
Just warm it in the microwave and place over your breasts (over
your tshirt) 5-10 minutes before feeding time. **
They can also be chilled in the freezer to provide relief for hot
engorged breasts (just put them inside a plastic bag before you
freeze)
The flexible design enables you to position the heat pack for
comfort, and it can be used on other aching body parts too.
When rolled into a spiral it will deliver comfort to your breasts
without scolding nipples.
Made in New Zealand from a 100% cotton outer, filled with 100%
NZ natural wheat. 100% Gel Free. 75cm long. One
heat pack.
** Place heat pack in the microwave with 1 cup of water. Heat
for 60 seconds, (this time will depend on your microwave capacity
so test temperature on your wrist before use).
Warning: Always heat with 1 cup of water to prevent
overheating. Always test temperature before use.
