Skin to Skin Day 1

Here is a photo that my friend Angela emailed, she is happy to share this photo.

Angela says "Breastfeeding on Day 1.  Breastfeeding can be hard work in the beginning but it is worth perservering as it becomes so rewarding. "

You can see in this photo how baby's jaw is open very wide in his latch, and his nose and chin are close to mums skins.  Plus mother and baby have skin to skin contact.

This is a beautiful photo, actually makes me feel clucky seeing this darling little baby.
